Burlington Brunch Connection
Sunday, May 5th, 2018
11:00am – 1:00pm
North End Studio A
294 N. Winooski Ave, Burlington VT
The ONE Good Deed Fund invites you to meet your neighbors from across Burlington and connect over brunch! On Sunday, May 5th, we hope you’ll join us at North End Studios for food, community, and to celebrate ONEderful award winners who make our neighborhood a better place. You’ll have plenty of time and opportunity to talk to someone new and we’ll have discussion prompts at each table for those who would like them. We’ll also provide arts and craft supplies to make cards that will be distributed throughout the city as random acts of kindness, and materials for a take-home gardening project. We hope that you leave feeling more connected to your neighbors and your community. The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
Know someone who lives in the Old North End and makes it a better place through their volunteer work? Nominate them for a ONEderful award by Friday, April 19th at 5pm! Everyone who is nominated and meets the criteria will receive an award. The criteria are:
- The recipient must live in the Old North End of Burlington, VT (defined as the area between Pearl Street as the southern border, North Willard Street as the eastern border, Manhattan Drive as the northern border, and North Avenue as the western border),
- The recipient’s actions make the Old North End a better place to live and work, and
- The recipient does this work as a volunteer.
North End Studio A is accessible both from double doors that face the sidewalk on N. Winooski Ave and from an entrance on the side of the building next to the parking lot with no stairs at either entry or in the studio space. There is a single stall gender neutral bathroom in the studio with grab bars. There is a bus stop next to the building that is part of the Green Mountain Transit City Loop
